Mendip Madness (Caribbean Style Hot Sauce) 150ml
Mendip Madness is our take on a Bajan style sauce and showcases a HOT, peppery Caribbean flavour with scotch bonnet chillies, mango and mustard powder with onion and garlic. Its an all rounder for dipping and pouring for anyone who likes an extra kick of heat with their meals. It is particularly great with BBQ meat or Mediterranean roast veggies.
Each bottle is lovingly handcrafted by us in small batches using high quality ingredients. When the season is right, the chillies have been grown by us in North Somerset using natural and responsible methods.
This product is naturally gluten free & has no animal products (vegan).
Mendip Madness is named after the area of Somerset we grew up in, and where the small patch of land we farm our chillies on resides. It's also a tribute to 'Mendip Magic' cider - the stuff of legends when we were teenagers. Our friendship was formed over many pints of this, mostly on Friday afternoons when we'd skip sixth form together in favour of the local country pub.
The artwork on the label was illustrated by the fabulously talented local artist Freya-Paige.
