All products have been lovingly handcrafted with chillies we have grown in the Mendip region of North Somerset using natural & responsible methods.
The brown packaging is made of recycled materials and is 100% recyclable. We have not branded the box or added any unnecessary stickers etc to make it easily reusable.
All products are vegan and gluten free.
Mendip Madness (Caribbean Style Hot Sauce) 150ml
Mendip Madness is our take on a Bajan style sauce and showcases a HOT, peppery Caribbean flavour with scotch bonnet chillies, mango and mustard powder with onion and garlic. Its an all rounder for dipping and pouring for anyone who likes an extra kick of heat with their meals. It is particularly great with BBQ meat or Mediterranean roast veggies.
Each bottle is lovingly handcrafted by us in small batches using high quality ingredients. When the season is right, the chillies have been grown by us in North Somerset using natural and responsible methods.
This product is naturally gluten free & has no animal products (vegan).
Mendip Madness is named after the area of Somerset we grew up in, and where the small patch of land we farm our chillies on resides. It's also a tribute to 'Mendip Magic' cider - the stuff of legends when we were teenagers. Our friendship was formed over many pints of this, mostly on Friday afternoons when we'd skip sixth form together in favour of the local country pub.
The artwork on the label was illustrated by the fabulously talented local artist Freya-Paige.
Fire In The Wookey (Smokey Hot Sauce) 150ml
As they say; "there's no smoke without fire", and this sauce is certainly no exception!
Fire in the Wookey is a flavoursome blend of smoked chipotle chillies, scotch bonnets, dried fig, onion and garlic with a fiery hit of Carolina Reaper - once known as the world's hottest chilli. It's great for adding a smokey depth to any tomato based dishes such as chilli con carne or a smokey bean stew - but can also be used for pouring and dipping in place of ketchup or mayo for anyone who loves adding spice to their meals.
Fire in the Wookey is named in tribute to Wookey Hole, one of the most famous caves in the Mendips and a place we both loved visiting as children.

Chilli & Chive Jam (mild - medium heat) 220g
Mild in heat but rich in flavour! This one showcases flavours of sweet red chilli peppers alongside onion and garlic with the subtle hint of fragrant chives. Its PERFECT with beautiful hunk of mature cheddar; however it also goes great in sandwiches, burgers, toasties or as a sweet chilli sauce substitute in stir-fries and other Asian dishes.

Jalapeno & Scotch Bonnet Jam (Medium heat) 220g
This one is super zesty AND zingy! Our Jalapeno & Scotch Bonnet Jam features mixed flavours of fresh citrus fruits, apples and peppers with a kick of jalapeno & scotch bonnet chillies. Its sweet, sour and slightly spicy (medium heat) with a beautiful soft set jam texture. PERFECT for the cheese board (particularly with a nice hunk of stilton), although it's also a great accompaniment to cooked meats such as gammon AND absolutely banging on a burger. It's what we call our fan favourite and is often the first to sell out at markets and food festivals.

"A marriage made in hell!" Our Habanero Marmalade carefully blends the flesh and shredded skin of juicy Seville oranges with fresh orange habaneros to make a thick cut sweet & zesty marmalade with a devilish kick. It's beautiful as a marinade, but we also love it with cold meats and cheese. It's great for baking with, and of course just as good smothered on a hunk of buttered toast accompanied by a cuppa!

Wild Fire: Jalapeno, Lime & Wild Garlic (Mild Tangy Chilli Sauce) 150ml
Wild Fire is a thick sauce of mild to medium heat showcasing a tasty mix of jalapeno chillies, shallots and wild garlic alongside a surprisingly cheeky tang of lime. It's perfect to add a bit of zing to Mexican food, lamb, grilled fish or burgers.
